Director

Local non-profit seeking Executive Director.

Columbia Basin Allied Arts (CBAA), located in Moses Lake, Washington, is currently accepting applications for the position of Executive Director. Work hours are flexible, averaging 20+. Beginning salary $20K – $24K, DOE.

Duties will include:

Negotiating contracts with artists and management groups, including lodging and materials needed for performances. Represent CBAA to the public in a professional manner. Write and pursue grants. Promote and publicize CBAA productions in both print and electronic media.
Working and communicating directly with the CBAA Board of Directors, including arranging meeting places and preparing reports. Maintain the CBAA physical office, website and current membership rolls. Oversight of treasurer functions including deposits of monies from members, sponsors and performances. Comply with budget set forth by the board. Write membership newsletters, press releases and programs. Travel to state arts conferences and maintain contacts with other arts organizations.

Qualifications desired in candidate include:

Leadership skills.
Active participation in community activities.
Demonstrate a passion and concern for the arts.
Experience in office and records management.
Experience working with volunteer groups.
Quickbooks competency.
